ACDS in the Community: clothing pantry success

November 4, 2021

Above, *donated items ready for pickup. Just two hours after the pantry opened for the community, these racks were empty!*

A community partnerships committee of the PIE Parent Association recently rallied our parent community to donate clothing, Halloween costumes, winter boots and coats, and more necessary items for winter. These were all packed into a 28-foot camper van (stuffed full!) and taken to the School-Based Family Resource Center in Rifle.

The goal of the community partnerships committee is to create connections among Aspen Country Day School parents and the wider community. Next up, a food drive!
