Summer checklist
Ready to head back to school? Here are your TO DO items for 2024.
ITEM #1, for parents: forms to complete online
Update and upload your information via mycountryday, using a tool called Magnus Health.
First, log in to mycountryday (important: your user name is your email address). Then, look under “Resources” for the Magnus Health link. Questions? Contact us.
ITEM #2, for students: summer homework
Stay curious this summer! Assignments are engaging and designed to keep your skills sharp. Click on the grade you’ll enter in the FALL:
ITEM #3: back-to-school supplies
Back-to-school shopping should be simple and easy. Most supplies are provided; there are just a few items you need to bring. Find your grade here.
ITEM #4: for families: Outdoor Education trip prep
Details come in the fall via ParentSquare for current families. Here are packing lists and general info to help you prepare.
ITEM #5: for parents: fill out the PIE volunteer signup form
Our parent association is called PIE, for Partners in Education. This group builds community and involvement in daily life at school. Volunteering is a great way to participate, and here’s your chance to sign up for a variety of opportunities, including:
- Teacher Appreciation
- Grade Ambassadors
- Dining Hall Volunteers
- Welcoming Committee
ITEM #6: for parents: plan transportation or choose a bus route
School bus stops and times have been uploaded to SchoolPass and students matched with their default daily routes. For after-school activities or one-time rides, request seats in SchoolPass once school is underway.
ITEM #7: download a few apps
You’ll find two apps particularly useful this coming year: ParentSquare and SchoolPass. Both are free and available in app stores.
Please note: if you are a new family, you will receive an invitation and instructions for these apps.
