Aspen Country Day School’s Teacher Wellness Fund was started during the pandemic by a generous school family. Passionate about recognizing teachers for the daily work they do with children, they launched this fund to increase faculty compensation.

This innovative fund leverages philanthropy to honor teachers for the extraordinary work they do. Normally, teacher salaries come out of tuition, so this fund takes that pressure off tuition increases.

All full-time teachers receive a bonus at the end of each school year. The message to faculty is clear: the whole community is behind you.

Today, there is an important match on the table. When we raise an additional $1.6M by December 31, 2025, a donor will give another $2M. This will bring total contributions to $10M and guarantee that the invested fund benefits ACDS teachers for many years to come.
