Summer checklist
Ready to head back to school? Here are your TO DO items for 2024.
ITEM #1, for parents: forms to complete online
Please update and upload your health forms and permissions via mycountryday, using a tool called Magnus Health. All forms must be complete by August 15.
First, log in to mycountryday. Then, look under “Resources” for the Magnus Health link. You will receive this link in reminders directly from Magnus. Questions? Contact us.
ITEM #2, for students: summer learning suggestions
Stay curious this summer! Click on the grade you’ll enter in the FALL:
ITEM #3: back-to-school supplies
Back-to-school shopping should be simple and easy. Most supplies are provided; there are just a few items you need to bring. Find your grade here.
ITEM #4: for families: Outdoor Education trip prep
Details come in the fall via ParentSquare for current families. Here are packing lists and general info to help you prepare.
ITEM #5: for parents: fill out the PIE volunteer signup form
Our parent association is called PIE, for Partners in Education. This group builds community and involvement in daily life at school. Volunteering is a great way to participate, and here’s your chance to sign up for a variety of opportunities, including:
- Teacher Appreciation
- Grade Ambassadors
- Dining Hall Volunteers
- Welcoming Committee
ITEM #6: for parents: plan transportation or choose a bus route
Come August, we will be asking about your plans for riding the school bus. There is nothing to do until then except to be thinking about your plans for getting to and from school.
ITEM #7: download a few apps
You’ll find two apps particularly useful: ParentSquare and SchoolPass. Both are free and available in app stores.
Please note: if you are a new family, you will receive an invitation and instructions for these apps.
