Camping in Colorado in the fall: an exciting expedition for the First Graders, who have an overnight in the high country. They practice bouldering, hiking, and camping skills, then write in their journals about their adventures. Noga's class goes on Outdoor Ed Wednesday-Thursday, September 29-30. Cathy's class goes Thursday-Friday, September 30-October 1.
Third Graders learn to rock climb, guided by professional instructors. Their introduction to this classic mountain sport emphasizes safety. This is a two-day trip with camping; one group of Third Graders goes Monday-Tuesday, the second group goes Thursday-Friday.
Taking their mountain biking skills to the next level, Fifth Graders camp and explore the extensive network of trails near Fruita, Colorado.
