100 days brighter

The Lower School math curriculum at Aspen Country Day School encourages students to explore, develop, test, discuss and apply ideas in order to embrace the subject as fluid, vibrant, creative and relevant. The course of study also demonstrates how math can be fun, and even funny!

In late February, ACDS commemorated the 100th day of school with students sharing collections of 100 items, from paper clips to pennies and Froot Loops. First Grade is a year for hard work and big growth, both of which make the 100th day of school a celebration of how far students have come as well as an opportunity to set new goals. First Graders also spoke about things they’ve been told 100 times:
