Originally from Bentonville, Arkansas, Tanaia McBride arrived in Aspen in 2015 to pursue a career, adventure, and mountain living. She has nearly two decades of experience working with children of all ages, including leading the PreK Fours division at Wildwood School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Science from the University of Arkansas and joined the ACDS Early School in 2025 as a PreKindergarten teacher.

Which ACDS core value is most meaningful to you, and why?
Perseverance. Everyday brings new challenges, and as an educator there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your children gain self confidence and become more resilient! Hard things help us grow!

A personal accomplishment you’re proud of?
Becoming a mom! It’s the hardest and also most rewarding job I’ve ever done.
