Milly grew up in Basalt and is a Roaring Fork Valley local. She joins ACDS this year as a member of the Early School team. Before coming to Country Day, she spent several years at The Cottage at Aspen School District and has also worked as a summer educator with ACES. Milly brings a strong background in early childhood education and a deep connection to the valley to her work with ACDS’s youngest learners.
Which ACDS core value is most meaningful to you, and why?
Respect, with little kids especially. Everything starts with making them feel safe, heard and valued. When they know you respect them, you can build that relationship and then everything else—learning, confidence, responsibility—grows from there.
