What ACDS core value is most meaningful to you, and why?

The core value of community resonates most with me, as I believe we can be at our best as people when we grow alongside one another. Community to me means creating a space where people feel seen, heard and valued in what they do and who they are.

What is the best compliment you’ve ever received?

I’ve been told that I’m calm under pressure and in emergencies, which is funny because I don’t think I am!

A personal accomplishment you’re proud of?

I ran the 2016 New York City Marathon and raised money for the New York Road Runners Team for Kids, and it was worth every single step! Putting effort into raising money so children can gain confidence and motivation to stay active throughout life was very rewarding.

In the event of a zombie apocalypse, which three people would you want with you at all times?

I’d want my husband for his MacGyver skills, my dad for the same reason, and Bob Weir.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

I’d control the weather!
