A Glenwood Springs native, Shannon moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley after teaching in Taipei, Taiwan for two years at the Taipei American School. Shannon’s international experience also includes teaching at the Lima American School in Lima, Peru from 2016-2020. Shannon has also taught in Denver and was a museum educator at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Shannon has an undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s in curriculum design from Lesley University.
