Which ACDS core value is most meaningful to you, and why?

Respect is likely the most meaningful core value for me. Respect is a bedrock and foundation for taking care of self and others!

What makes a student’s experience at ACDS distinctive from other schools?

I love the Power of Three — the strength of braiding together academics, arts and outdoor education.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?

Being called “Boda” (like Yoda) because people thought me wise.

A personal accomplishment you’re proud of?

I co-founded the Innovation Diploma program. Also, I have summited 20 of Colorado’s 14ers.

Hidden talent or special skill?

I can often “translate” in a meeting to help people build community more effectively. I can also juggle!
